Geoffrey Kent is the founder and chairman emeritus of Abercrombie & Kent, the pioneering luxury travel company that helped define the modern safari and transform experiential travel worldwide. Raised in Kenya, Kent built the company into a global leader in luxury adventure travel across all seven continents. A passionate conservationist, he founded Friends of Conservation and Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy to protect wildlife and support local communities. His contributions to the industry have earned him numerous honors, including the World Travel & Tourism Council’s Global Icon Award and induction into the U.K. Travel Hall of Fame. A champion polo player, he twice won the U.S. Open Polo Championship, captained the Prince of Wales Polo Team, Windsor Park and served as a Rolex ambassador. A lifelong explorer, Kent has traveled more than 18 million miles across 172 countries.
